Nutrition Practicum (NUT 298)

Description

This capstone course provides students an opportunity to participate in 100 hours of work experience in the nutrition field. The work experience may focus on specific or a variety of nutrition career paths and responsibilities and are supervised by a Licensed Registered Dietitian (LRD). Experience may include nutritional care for individuals or population-based strategies. The work experience is complimented by 15 hours of classroom work focusing on employment readiness.
(Prerequisites: NUT 105, NUT 200, GPE 240, NUT 241, NUT 251).
