Description

This course is designed to continue expanding upon the learners? knowledge of Anatomy/Physiology, Medical Terminology, English for Medical Transcription Careers and Beginning Medical Transcription integrated with Pathophysiology and Pharmacology by providing extensive hands-on medical transcription training. This hands-on training implements all facets of medical transcription and is designed to offer real life experience in the field of medical transcription. This course offers the learner the experience of using medical transcription reference material, as well as implementing the industry standard guidelines set by The Association for Healthcare Documentation Integrity (AHDI), as well as HIPAA compliance and Joint Commission updates. By integrating this course with pathophysiology and pharmacology, the student will gain the overall medical knowledge needed to succeed in medical transcription.
