Description
This course is designed to continue expanding upon the learners? knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, English and give the foundation skills needed to begin medical transcription within this course. Learners are introduced to transcription work types, word expanding software, and its impact on productivity as well as other necessary foundation skills to be successful in employment. This course utilizes computer based learning opportunities and technology used in the field of medical transcription. Also included is an introduction to the career based opportunities. (Summer)
