Description

This course is designed to continue expanding upon the learner's knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, English and Beginning Medical Transcription by providing extensive hands-on medical transcription training supported by the study of pathophysiology. This hands-on training implements all facets of medical transcription and is designed to offer real life experience in the field of medical transcription. This course offers the learner the experience of using medical transcription reference material as well as implementing the industry standard guidelines set by The American Association for Medical Transcription (AAMT). This course emphasizes acute care medical transcription and pathophysiology as well as Pharmacology and Medicolegal Issues. This course utilizes computer based learning opportunities and technology used in the field of medical transcription.
