Description

This course is designed to continue expanding upon the learner's knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology. This hands-on training implements all facets of medical transcription and is designed to offer real life experience in the field of medical transcription. This course offers the learner the experience of using medical transcription reference material, as well as implementing the industry standard guidelines set by The Association for Healthcare Documentation Integrity (AHDI), as well as HIPAA compliance and Joint Commission updates. The medical specialties of GI & GU will be covered in this portion of the training. To address multicultural diversities in the industry of medical transcription, learners will be exposed to numerous different dialects of English as a Second Language (ESL) speaking physicians in all different medical specialties.
