Description
This course introduces fundamentals of active scientific research, including environmental content, research methods, and statistical reasoning. Hands-on learning and an inquiry bases approach are emphasized. With instructor coaching and mentoring, learners generate a research project that evolves progressively over a sequence of four active research courses, culminating with a capstone course and internship in the fourth semester. This course is the first step in the 4 step sequence of course. No prerequisites. (Summer)
