Description
This course is designed to be an introductory overview of physical science with an emphasis on Earth Science. Organized into seven units by subject category, it includes the basic topics and principles of geology, oceanography, meteorology and astronomy. A hands on approach is central to the processes employed. Prerequisites are CSC 101-Intro to Computers and MTH 102-Intermediate Algebra; each with course grades of a C or better. These may be taken concurrently with instructor permission. (Fall, Spring)
