Description

Basic Concepts of Nursing introduces theories and related skills fundamental to nursing practice. This course focuses on principles of safety, sterile technique, fluids and acid-base balance, oxygenation, and medication administration, and their related skills. Knowledge of the nursing process is applied to practice in a clinical setting.
Prerequisite: Acceptance into the Nursing program and BIO 220, NUR 101 and
NUR 206.
