Description

The course will focus on identification of culturally important plans at various stages of growth. Topics include traditional uses; harvesting, preparation, storage and protocols; and English, Lakota/Dakota, and scientific nomenclature. The course will examine habitat diversity, including optimal growth conditions, plant origins (native and invasive), and the interdepedence of all organisms.
