Description

This course is an introductory conversational course in Lakota language, both in written and oral forms. The course is designed to help students practice the basic fundmentals of the Lakota language; to explore the senses, structures, and phonology of the language; to build confidence through hands-on linguistic exercises; and to gain a better understanding and respect for the language. It is for the student with little or no experience with Lakota language. (Summer)
