Description

This course is the study of anatomy and physiology of various tissues of the body, systems, organs, and the cells that comprise them. Specific focus will be on the following tissue types: endocrine, cardiovascular, lymphatic, respiratory, urinary, reproductive, and digestive systems, and health/nutrition. This course will include detailed knowledge of the contribution of these tissues and to the function and anatomy of the human body. The knowledge willprovide a basis for understanding levels of organization, support, movement, integration and coordination of the body. (Spring, Fall, Summer)
