Description
This course focuses on the basic chemistry, cellular biology, anatomy and physiology of various tissues of the body, and the cells that comprise them. Specific focus will be on the following tissue types: integumentary system, skeletal, and muscular systems. This course provides detailed knowledge of the contribution of these tissues and to the function and anatomy of the human body. This knowledge willprovide the basis for understanding levels of organization, support, movement, integration and coordination of the body. (Spring, Fall)
