Description
This course focuses on the history of alcohol, the effects it has on the body both in dependence and medical considerations and how it affects the family. Alcohol dependence and treatment will be discussed along with psychiatric considerations for the dependent person. There will be a unit on the potential counselor's personal and professional development. (Summer)
