Formerly HIT 210 Pathology and Pharmcology I
This course delivers content relevant to the needs of a medical coding professional. An in-depth study of the nature of diseases based on symptoms, physical examination, diagnostic tests and treatment methodologies documented in the medical record is provided. General Pathology also addresses specific disorders associated with diseases as well as developmental stages and factors that have a significant role in the coding of such patient documentation.
