Description

This course introduces the learner to the various types of applied and healthcare-specific statistics used by local, national, international, private, and tribal communities. This course provides a study of the principles of data collection, manipulation, interpretation, and data presentation as a source of information. Health care data collection, formula calculation, and presentation techniques will be emphasized using manual and computer-based learning opportunities. This course has a lab component. Prerequisites: HIT 104, CIT 101, and Math requirement. (Summer and Fall) Campus-based and Online
