Description
This course emphasizes the language of medicine and includes the combination of word roots with prefixes and suffixes. An introductory overview of medical conditions and ailments, diagnostic terms and procedures, and treatment methodologies according to body system is provided. Accuracy in word construction, application, usage, and meaning of health care terms is emphasized. (Fall, Spring, Summer)
