Description

This couse is designed to be an introductory overview of the Global Positioning System (GPS), Geographic Information Systems (GIS), and Remote Sensing (RS) geo-spatial technology fundamentals. A hands-on approach is central to the process. Multi-spectral data manipulation will be introduced. This course is aminimum requirement for certain certificates and degrees. Prerequisites are CSC 101-Intro to Computers and MTH 102-Intermediate Algebra, each with a course grade of C or better. These prerequisites may be taken concurrently with instructor permission. Fall and/or Spring as demanded.
