Description
This course introduces fundamentals of active scientific research, including environmental content, research methods, and statistical reasoning. Hands-on learning and an inquiry based approach are emphasized. Students develop an environmentally related project, based on personal interest, in a manner that progressively builds from the selection of a general area of interest, through the formulation of a working hypothesis, to the development of a detailed project plan.
