Description

This course examines the effects of external forces acting on stationary rigid bodies in equilibrium. Vector algebra is used to study two and three-dimensional systems of forces. Analysis of structures includes trusses, frames and machines, shear and moment in beams. Friction, centroids, moments of inertia and mass moments of inertia are discussed. (Fall)
