The United Tribes Technical College Dual Credit Program provides high school students the opportunity to simultaneously earn high school and college credit by taking academically challenging and culturally relevant college courses in an online format.

Upon completion of the dual credit course, students receive a grade report from United Tribes Technical College.  Students who have earned a “C” or higher receive 3 credit hours from UTTC in addition, they will receive ½ High School credit.

Dual Credit Applicants (High School)

United Tribes Technical College invites eligible students to take a limited number of credits of undergraduate study while they are still in high school. All of the academic policies that apply to regular undergraduate students at the college apply to dual credit students, in addition to the academic policies specifically referring to dual credit students. Students invited to apply to the college as dual credit students must complete and submit the following documents in order to be considered for participation:

  • Completed application for admission (includes Student Enrollment Agreement)
  • Completed “Is Online Learning for Me?” survey
  • Copy of degree of Indian blood
  • Birth Certificate
  • High school transcript
  • Parent/Guardian Consent Form
  • FERPA Release of Information Form

Documents Required to Enroll

The following forms are required to enroll in the program:

  • Parent/Guardian Consent Form (submitted electronically)
  • FERPA Student Authorization Release Form (submitted electronically)
  • United Tribes Technical College Admissions Form
  • Birth Certificate
  • Certificate of Indian Blood
  • Official High School Transcript
  • 'Is Online Learning For Me?' Survey

In order to submit the documents online using any browser such as Internet Explorer, Firefox or Chrome, you must right-click and save the document on your desktop and open the PDF file for submission. You are required to have e-mail access for any online submission.

 

NOTE: If you are on Windows 10, most of the links will open via Microsoft Edge and you will not be able to submit the file. Please ensure that you do have an Acrobat Reader on your device and save as the above files as PDF in order to be able to submit.  

Dual Credit Handbook has more information about the program and its requirements. The Parent/Guardian Consent form and the Student Enrollment Agreement are included in this form.  If you submit the online Dual Credit Application you don't have to submit the paper version.
