Description
This course introduces the foundations of special education with an emphasis on inclusive practices, ethics, and advocacy. Students will examine how disabilities affect learning and development and explore strategies to support access to the general education curriculum. Topics include legal frameworks, the role of the special educator, and culturally responsive approaches that promote equity for all learners.
