Description
Gerontology: Social Workers Perspectives enables students to apply the anthropology of aging and how to apply this to the social work practice. Theories of aging will be examined and applied to assessment and intervention strategies. Particular emphasis will be placed on expected life transitions and accompanying life changes, life crises and problems, public policy, and development and delivery of services. (Spring)
