Description
This course is designed to promote a successful college training experience academically, professionally, and personally. It includes the development of practical knowledge and skills such as learning styles and test taking strategies, communications, study techniques, critical thinking, community and campus resources, self-discovery, and managing personal issues. The course emphasizes American Indian virtues as well as academics, balance, commitment and diversity. This course is required for all new students completing short term training certificate programs.
