Description
This course is the third in a series of three courses designed to develop the necessary foundations in mathematics for prospective elementary teachers. This course prepares teacher candidates to teach mathematics in elementary schools. The focus of this course will be on understanding mathematical concepts and developing appropriate lessons and strategies for teaching mathematical concepts to all children. An emphasis is placed on meeting the needs of all learners in culturally diverse educational environments, including differentiated instruction with accommodations and modifications, as needed.
