Description
This course focuses on the following advanced IP addressing techniques, Network Address Translation (NAT), Port Address Translation (PAT), dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP), Wide Area Network (WAN) technology and terminology, Point-to-Point Protocol (PPP), Integrated Services Digital Network (ISDN), Developmental Delay Resources (DDR), Frame Relay, Network management, and Introduction to optical networking. Prerequisite: CIS 257 Intermediate Networking I. (Fall, Spring)
