Description
This course introduces students to technologies and practices used to secure computers and networks. Topics covered include basic security principles, legal and ethical issues, cryptography, secure authentication, logging, device security, enterprise security, as well as examining security from business and personal perspectives. Students will discuss current cybersecurity events and breaches. This course prepares students for the CompTIA Security+ certification.
