Description
This course is designed to expand upon the knowledge gained in Anatomy/Physiology and Medical Terminology by providing extensive hands-on medical transcription. This hands-on training implements all facets of medical transcription and is designed to offer real life experience in the field of medical transcription. This course offers the learner the experience of using medical transcription reference material as well as implements the standard guidelines set out by The American Association for Medical Transcription (AAMT). To reinforce learning, the content of this course is integrated with Pathophysiology for Healthcare Professions. This course utilizes computer based learning opportunities as well as technology used in the field of medical transcription.
