Description

This course gives students the knowledge and skills to start and manage a business. The course covers various aspects of entrepreneurship, from idea generation to business planning and implementation. Throughout the course, students will explore the entrepreneurial mindset and learn about the characteristics and traits of successful entrepreneurs. Key topics covered in the course include opportunity identification and evaluation, market research, business planning, financing and funding options, marketing strategies, operations management, social entrepreneurship, and legal considerations for startups. Students will have the opportunity to develop their business ideas and create comprehensive business plans.
Prerequisite: BUS 120 Fundamentals of Business
