Tribal Government (BUS 130)

Office Hours: 10:00-10:50 AM Monday-Friday; Noon-1:00 PM M-T-TH-F and 2:15-:2:30 M-W-TH.
This course introduces students to tribal governance within Indian Country. Topics include traditional and modern tribal government, tribal administration, treaties, impact of national government policies and intergovernmental relations. Students will explore the legal, cultural, historic, and political foundations of Indigenous sovereignty.
