Description

This course introduces fundamental principles and practices in financial accounting. Students will learn the accounting cycle, basic financial statements, and principles of recording financial transactions. Topics include analysis of business transactions, creation of journal entries, and preparation of financial statements, with emphasis on assets, liabilities, equity, revenue, and expenses. Practical real-world applications and examples reinforce theoretical concepts, and provide students with a solid foundation for understanding financial information in a business context.
